Philip Marshall Sailing is operated entirely by me, the principal, using my own MCA coded yacht. I qualified as a yachtmaster instructor in 1990 and have sailed over 30,000 miles.
"Grumpy Bear" is a 46' Jeanneau 45.2 with four cabins plus the saloon giving 10 berths, so for a maximum of 5 students there is plenty of space and comfort. She is berthed in Ocean Village Marina, Southampton. She is heated for cold days and well equipped in all ways. Food provided on board is good quality. The school has been running since 1991.
All RYA sailing courses are offered together with ICC instruction and testing. Navigation equipment includes traditional methods, chart plotter and lap top. She carries radar and AIS. All safety gear is supplied for your use, and she is, of course MCA coded for tuition and charter.
12 people can be accommodated for day charter, 10 for longer periods. She is only available for skippered charter.
Don't forget I can offer five day courses which include the weekend to save your valuable holiday entitlement.
